Manually Adding Pins to Maps or Marking Locations on Maps
You can add pins in the iPhone Maps application which can make navigation and sharing location easy as a pie. But how do you do it? You don’t need to worry for here are the steps to add pins.
· Go to the iPhone’s Maps app
· You’ll see a blue Post-It-Style note icon on the bottom-right corner. Tap on it
· Option to drop a pin will be given.
· Select the option.
· Drag the pin to the point where you want it to be.
Once you add the pin, you will see a label hovering over the pin. You can get more function through this label. Clicking on the label will give you options to get directions to and from that point and it makes easy for you to share you location an email or a text message. You can even bookmark it.
Another iPhone Maps tip is to how to activate the iPhone’s compass. To activate the compass, hit on the arrow-shaped icon on the bottom-left of your display. Once activated the compass will show you on which direction you are facing on the map.
