Let me today switch my attention upon another virus of the worm type known as Win32.AutoRun. This is something which I never knew until I start working in Oglacs, one of the top 10 software companies in India. I have seen the copies of the virus in my own system long ago but I thought it was normal and it may have been a system file but I was wrong.

Win32.AutoRun is low damaging virus of the worm type. One thing I'm surprised is that this virus has got versions and its size depends upon the version. This virus is also known as Worm.Win32.AutoRun in Kapersky, Spy-Agent.bw.gen.trojan in McAfee and W32.SillyFDC in Symantec.
I came to know all of these for I was told about it by those software engineers working with me. The credit of this top software company goes to all of them. As according to them and when I searched it online, this worm came into being or first appeared on 10th October 2007. The damage done by this worm to the computer is low but it can be most bugging to computer users.
They propagate through removable devices. Therefore, be careful when you are about to insert your media storage devices on any computer.
